In accordance with the requirements of sustainable development of society, democratic reforms require the development of the national segment of the global Internet. In this regard, specific features of algorithmic approaches in the development of a digital society are revealed. The article widely covers the issues of datafication and algorithmization, as well as artificial intelligence. At the same time, it is shown that in a digital society it is necessary to satisfy the population's demand for information that can reveal the purpose and characteristics of social, economic and political processes. Existing theories of problem solving aimed at ensuring information security are studied. Modern digital technologies and algorithms, as well as artificial intelligence, underlie the digital society. It is becoming increasingly important that artificial intelligence is a set of models and methods that can draw certain conclusions based on the data obtained.
