PROBLEMS AND OPPORTUNITIES OF FEMALE LABOR MIGRATION IN AN URBAN METROCOLIS

The article is devoted to one of the most serious consequences of the globalization of the world economy - the increase in the number and proportion of women among international migrants crossing state borders in order to find work in other countries. The article analyzes the problems and opportunities of female labor migration. The author paid much attention to one of the modern features of migration - the increasing role of women among migrants, the feminization of migration and the ensuing problems and prospects. The feminization of migration has important consequences for both receiving and sending countries. The presence of this category of migrants in migration flows requires a revision of migration and social policies, taking into account their characteristics and needs.
