THE INFLUENCE OF THE VOLUNTEER MOVEMENT ON THE FORMATION OF PATRIOTISM IN YOUTH

Abstract

The scientific study of the process and mechanisms of the formation of a new hierarchy of values of youth in the conditions of a post-industrial society is in demand by the relevance of bringing positivist ethics to the first place in the ideological attitudes of adolescents. The filling of patriotic education with new content should be carried out on the basis of new scientific approaches, first of all, substantiated from the point of view of sociology. Let us emphasize that the activity of volunteers in almost all of its manifestations has a positive orientation, it is aimed at specific socially significant results. Volunteering motives contribute to the formation of such important qualities in volunteers as compassion, responsibility for oneself, assigned work, increase the sense of self-esteem and humane and tolerant attitude towards others, promote the employment of young people in useful work, form qualities and skills. The most important thing is that young people, who see that their efforts are in demand, develop a sense of belonging to the Motherland, and, consequently, patriotism is strengthened.
