SOCIAL PROTECTION AS A SOCIOLOGICAL PHENOMENON

Abstract

The article examines new issues of social practice as social work in society. The purpose of considering this topic is to identify problems, contradictions and trends in understanding the patterns of development of various forms of social assistance and support. In the context of the gradual withdrawal of the state from the social sphere, the topic of individual social responsibility of a citizen before society is becoming more and more relevant. Also noted are important relationships and theoretical provisions that form the basis of local social policy. The priority task of local authorities is to contribute to the formation of a local community for social partnership between authorities and citizens in order to ensure access to necessary social resources, reduce injustice, poverty and social tension and improve the quality of life. the article examines the social policy of modern Uzbekistan, actualizes the role of national traditions, collective forms of mutual assistance and support of the population; makhalla as a mechanism for implementing targeted social policy in Uzbekistan
