THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL BASIS OF THE RESEARCH OF SOCIOLOGICAL DISCOURSE

Abstract

This article analyzes the methodological basis of the research of sociological discourse in the development of the country's socio-economic life. It gives the definition of sociological discourse, its purpose in public life. The role and importance of political discourse in achieving a high level of political consciousness and worldview of citizens is enormous. Moreover, the usage of “hermeneutic discourse” in the interpretation of the text and the process of “mediation” in problem solving. Sociological discourse in achieving goals and objectives is a communicative phenomenon, and the mass audience, national-cultural character and ideology determine the social context of sociological discourse. The necessity of changing the criteria used to analyze the state and civil society in modern conditions is substantiated. The development of civil initiatives and their role in building a dialogue between the government and civil society are also considered.
