EDUCATION, UPBRINGING AND CULTURE: HISTORY AND MODERNITY

This article examines the historical evolution and contemporary interrelationship of education, upbringing, and culture from socio-philosophical and pedagogical perspectives. It explores their role in shaping human capital, transmitting national values, and promoting the socialization of individuals. Particular attention is given to the transformation of educational systems under the influence of globalization, digitalization, and the rapid development of information and communication technologies. The study employs historical, comparative, systemic, and conceptual research methods to reveal the dynamic interaction between education, upbringing, and cultural development. The findings indicate that the integration of these three dimensions constitutes one of the essential prerequisites for sustainable social development, civic engagement, and the formation of an innovative economy. Based on the analysis, several theoretical and practical recommendations are proposed for improving educational policy while maintaining a balance between national traditions and universal human values.
