Keywords:
youth, welfare, World Values Survey, happiness level, life satisfaction, financial situation assessmentAbstract
The article is devoted to the study of youth well-being in Uzbekistan, with its methodological foundation based on the World Values Survey (WVS). A secondary analysis of coded data from the sixth (2011) and seventh (2022) waves has been carried out. The analysis includes not only traditional economic indicators but also subjective measures such as levels of happiness and life satisfaction, health status, and assessment of financial situation. This interdisciplinary approach makes it possible to identify the dynamics of changes in the socio-cultural environment and to determine the factors directly influencing the quality of life of young people. The findings can be applied in the development of state youth policy and social development strategies aimed at strengthening human capital.
