The fact that the 21st century is called the century of information technology can be explained by the place that information technology occupies in our daily lives. Indeed, the introduction of information technology into our lives not only creates a number of conveniences, but also determines the general mood. Today, the reliability of information in social networks is considered higher than that of official information. This article attempts to highlight the development of modern information technology, in particular, the impact of artificial intelligence on the mood of citizens and social stability. The article also discusses the results of research and theoretical approaches of foreign scientists on this issue.
