PUBLIC DIPLOMACY OF UZBEKISTAN AS A TRUST-BUILDING INSTRUMENT IN CENTRAL ASIA

This article analyzes the formation and development of public diplomacy in Uzbekistan as a key instrument for building trust in the Central Asian region. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of Tashkent's strategic initiatives in recent years aimed at promoting political cooperation, economic integration, open dialogue, cultural exchange, and humanitarian cooperation between the countries of the region. It is shown that Uzbekistan's public diplomacy contributes to the formation of a positive image of the country in the region and the world, leads to the development and strengthening of regional identity, and reduces the potential for conflict. In the context of Uzbekistan's new foreign policy strategy, public diplomacy plays a crucial role in realizing the country's soft power potential and the practical desire to create an atmosphere of trust and mutual understanding, which is necessary for the sustainable development of Central Asia and the strengthening of the role of the region's countries in international relations.
