АRCHIVTS AS A SOCIAL INSTITUTION IN THE SOCIAL MANAJEMENT: HISTORY AND TIMELINESS

This article examines archival activity as an institution of social management, and attempts to show the role and significance of archives in social management. The author tried to reveal the role of archives in the development of the state. The essence and functioning of archives in the society is defined.
The article examines the pre-institutional, transitional and institutional period of archives in social management, the history of European archives. The article also analyzes the history of the archives of Central Asia and the storage of documents in these archives.
In relation to the archive system, dysfunction can be considered, on the one hand, as the inability of the system to perform a function, i.e. its deviation from the accepted normative model, and on the other, as the prevalence of a function that prevents the implementation of other functions. Archival activity includes a set of socially significant actions carried out by subjects of the archival sphere at various levels of social organization of society, pursuing certain social goals and interests.
