THE CURRENT STATE OF THE STATE PENSION PROVISION SYSTEM AND THE CONCEPT OF ITS REFORM

This article discusses the current state of the state pension provision system and the concept of its reform. The paper outlines the pension provision system aimed at ensuring the living standards of citizens who are unfit for work or have low income, focusing on economic, legal, social, and organizational aspects. It envisions the implementation of a set of measures of economic, legal, social, and organizational character. The article analyzes various types of state pensions — by age, disability, loss of breadwinner — and provides a social analysis of the recipients of such pensions. Moreover, it offers suggestions and recommendations for improving the pension provision system.
