SOCIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF MAHALLA ACTIVITIES IN UZBEKISTAN

Today in Uzbekistan, attention to the mahalla system has changed dramatically. After all, this
is the most effective and traditional mechanism for direct work with the population. This way of
communicating with the people, we otherwise call the mahalla work system. In this article, a survey
titled “Sociological Analysis of the Efficiency of Mahalla Activities in Uzbekistan” was conducted
in Tashkent city and Tashkent, Jizzakh, Samarkand, Kashkadarya, Khorezm, Fergana, and Namangan
regions to study the effectiveness of local governance systems and the significance of self-governing
bodies in social protection. The results obtained from the survey were analyzed.
