FEATURES OF YOUTH PERCEPTION OF SOCIAL LIFTERS IN THE PROCESS OF SOCIAL MOBILITY

In the article, the author examines sociological approaches to studying the effectiveness of social lift mechanisms that allow changing the social status of the younger generation. The article presents the results of studies by classics of sociological thought on social mobility, as well as modern studies of the foundations of social change. The article presents the results of a study among young people aimed at analyzing the effect of social lifts in relation to socio-economic status. Based on the study, the author comes to the conclusion that education retains its traditionally high status as a social lift, but at the same time, argues for a change in its position in the future due to the development of digital technologies that change the social landscape. The study confirmed the hypothesis about the prevalence of the attitude towards success factors associated primarily with the education of parents, which characterizes a stable connection between the transfer of educational values and culture.
