FACILITATIVE LEADERSHIP AS A FACTOR IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF DEMOCRATIC PROCESSES IN MANAGEMENT

This article focuses on facilitative leadership. This form of leadership is of great importance in the process of democratic transformation taking place in our country today. Of particular importance are the skills of listening, communicating, organizing, coordinating, processing and problem solving in leadership. Giving a group of people the power to set direction, make decisions, and act is quite a complex process. Facilitative leadership skills can enable us to implement such a process. Facilitative leadership is a style that has several useful qualities. In this article, the author has attempted to explain what facilitative leadership is, describe the characteristics of a facilitative leader, and show why facilitative leadership is valuable.
