Maqolada muallif bosma va elektron kitoblarning qiyosiy tahlilini amalga oshirar ekan, turli mamlakatlarda o’tkazilgan sotsiologik so’rovlar natijalariga ko’ra, qog’oz nashrlarning an’anaviy o’qish vositasi sifatidagi afzalliklari ta’kidlangan. Elektron kitoblarning foydalanish qulayligi, ixchamligi va nisbatan tejamkorligi kabi yaqqol afzalliklariga qaramay, ularning salbiy tomonlariga - xususan, ko’rishga salbiy ta’sir ko’rsatishi va estetik idrok etish darajasining pasayishiga e’tibor qaratiladi. Xulosa qilib aytganda, muallif aniqlangan muammoning mumkin bo’lgan yechimlarini shakllantiradi.
