Ushbu falsafiy tadqiqot maqolasi pornografiyani Nigeriya jamiyatida axloqiy masala sifatida o‘rganadi, bunda Afrika an’anaviy madaniyati, kolonializm va dinning, mamlakatning jinsiy axloqi va odob–axloq me’yorlarini shakllantirishdagi alohida va birgalikdagi ta’siri hisobga olinadi. Nigeriya Jinoyat Kodeksining 204 va 205–moddalari pornografik materiallarni suratga olish, iste’mol qilish, ishlab чiqarish va tarqatishni taqiqlasa–da, globalizatsiya va texnologiyalar sababli bunday amallar keng tarqalmoqda. Ushbu maqolada pornografiyaga oid quyidagi etik masalalar tanqidiy tahlil qilinadi: madaniyat, jins, rozilik va axloqiy rivojlanish, deontologik etik tizim, fazilat etikasi, madaniy nisbiylik va feminist etikasi nuqtai nazaridan madaniy konservatizm va libertarianizm o‘rtasidagi ziddiyat, pornografiyada ayollarning ob’yekt sifatida ko‘rsatilishi va kuч munosabatlarining xabardor rozilikka ta’siri o‘rganiladi. Shunday qilib, pornografiyadagi jinsiy namoyishlar bilan bog‘liq zulm va jinsga asoslangan zulmning bir vaqtda qanday ishlashini tahlil qilish orqali jinsiy munosabatlar va jamiyat qanday faoliyat yuritishini umumlashtirish mumkin. Xulosa qilib aytganda, ushbu tadqiqot Nigeriyada jinsiy mazmundagi materiallarni iste’mol qilish bo‘yiчa murakkab etik manzara taqdim etishni maqsad qilgan bo‘lib, bu madaniy farqlarga hurmatni, ayollar huquqlarini va shaxsning tanlov huquqini himoya qilish bilan uyg‘un bo‘lishi lozim.
