Postmodernism, in the history of philosophical thought, emerges as an intellectual movement that reinterprets traditional views on being. Within this framework, being is not understood as a unified, stable, and universal reality, but rather as a multilayered, dynamic, and interpretative discursive phenomenon. In the postmodern paradigm, meaning, truth, and reality are decentered and are constructed through various texts, signs, and social discourses. In this sense, being is not static, but is interpreted as a phenomenon that is continuously renewed through ongoing processes of interpretation. However, this approach also gives rise to a number of problems. In particular, the loss of firm ontological foundations, the excessive intensification of relativism, the weakening of criteria of truth, and the fragmentation of meaning all contribute to conceptual ambiguity in scientific and philosophical analysis. Furthermore, the tendency to understand reality solely through discourse complicates the relationship between objective being and social practice. Therefore, this article attempts to provide a comprehensive analysis of the interpretation of the concept of being within the paradigm of postmodernism, its philosophical and methodological features, and its significance in contemporary socio-scientific thought.
