THE ROLE OF CHILDREN'S LITERATURE IN THE FORMATION OF READING CULTURE

This article provides information about the attention paid to children's literature in our country, its specific features, tasks, the importance of cultivating creative thinking in students, reading, the requirements for children's literature. Further development of children's literature, the role of literature in children's lives, the use of folklore to develop the interest of primary school students in fiction, the organization of extracurricular activities such as "Journey to the world of fairy tales", reading children's literature scientifically substantiated its role in the formation of culture.
