ISSUES OF PREVENTION OF PERIODONTAL DISEASES IN PATIENTS WITH GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT DISORDERS

Patients with gastrointestinal tract disorders have an increased risk of developing periodontal diseases, which is associated with a decrease in the overall reactivity of the body. This article discusses the main preventive approaches to early detection and prevention of periodontal diseases. The proposed recommendations are aimed at a comprehensive management of such patients in dental practice.
