The article compares the results of psychotherapy of patients with chronic insomnia by gender differences. 150 patients were involved in the study. The dynamics of CBT-I in each group was statistically analyzed. For assessment, the study used a medical-psychological questionnaire, the HADS scale to determine the level of anxiety and depression, the Pittsburgh scale to determine sleep disorders, the ISI scale to determine the severity of insomnia, the DBAS-16 scale to determine dysfunctional thoughts and attitudes related to sleep, and the FCV-19S scale to determine COVID-19 phobia. After the application of the CBT-I program, clinically and statistically significant positive changes (p <0.001) were observed in all primary parameters, chronic insomnia decreased by 25-52%. Based on the results of the study, an algorithm for the phased implementation of psychotherapy methods (CBT-I) in the post-pandemic period for the early diagnosis of chronic insomnia was developed.
