HISTORICAL SOURCES OF NAVOY AND PROBLEMS OF THEIR FIRST STUDY

From the literature of antiquity to the present stage of the development of Eastern and Western literary and aesthetic thinking, interest in the creator and his personality is observed in every society. In particular, studying the heritage and personality of the great thinker, state and public figure, poet Alisher Navoi on a new theoretical basis is one of the urgent tasks that will ensure the development of the field. This article discusses historical sources about Navoi and their study.
