Бугунги кунга қадар Ўзбекистонда болаларда вақтинчалик тишларнинг карийеси ва мактабгача ёшдаги периодонтал тўқималар касалликлари енг кенг тарқалган стоматологик касалликлардан бири бўлиб қолмоқда. Болалик ва ўсмирлик давридаги тиш касалликлари кўп жиҳатдан одамларнинг ҳаётининг кейинги йилларида соғлиғининг ҳолатини аниқлаб бериши исботланган. Шунинг учун ёш болаларда кариеснинг олдини олишнинг замонавий усуллари педиатрия стоматологиясининг долзарб муаммоларидан биридир.
