Ushbu maqola orqali muallif BMTning xalqaro tinchlik va xavfsizlik uchun javobgar bo‘lgan asosiy organi Xavfsizlik Kengashining isloh qilinishi zarurati, isloh qilishdagi asosiy masalalar, bu borada davlatlar tomonidan berilayotgan takliflarni muhokama qiladi. Ayniqsa, G4, Konsensus uchun birlashish guruhi, Annan rejasi, Afrika guruhi kabi Xavfsizlik Kengashini isloh qilish bo‘yicha hamkorlik formatlari kengroq yoritib beriladi. Muallif maqolada Kengash faoliyatini samarali tashkil etish bo‘yicha bir necha takliflar ishlab chiqadi.
