INTERNATIONAL LEGAL AND ETHICAL ASPECTS OF EUTHANASIA: FOREIGN EXPERIENCE OF LEGAL REGULATION OF EUTHANASIA

This article is devoted to the international legal regulation of euthanasia, consideration of legal and ethical aspects. Euthanasia is also considered as a separate legal category in the human rights system that takes place in our society and requires its own legal regulation. A comparative legal analysis of the practice of regulating euthanasia in foreign countries has been carried out. The consequences of legal and illegal euthanasia, which took place both during emergency situations and in daily medical practice, especially in relation to the elderly, are analyzed. The value and inalienable right of everyone to life and bioethical aspects of euthanasia are substantiated. Based on the studied material, amendments to the national legislation of Uzbekistan towards the prohibition of euthanasia are proposed.
