This article analyzes the negative impact of an unhealthy social environment in the family on the upbringing of a person and, as a result, the factors that lead to the Commission of offenses and crimes, the formation of inappropriate behavior and features in the person, in particular, the upbringing of minors, offers suggestions and recommendations for measures to prevent it. Also analyzed are the criminological aspects of committing serious and especially serious crimes directed against the life and health of a person as a result of an unhealthy situation in the family.
