INTERNATIONAL LEGAL REGULATION OF MEDICAL SERVICES WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE GATS

This article examines the regulation of medical services within the framework of the World Trade Organization, analyzes international legal documents, the main goals of the GATS in the field of medical services, studies the fundamental work of scientists on the creation of the GATS, the impact of the entry of the relevant state into the WTO on the improvement or deterioration of the health system, four ways of supplying medical services, the advantages of the GATS in the service sector. In the final part of the article, proposals are made for the development of international legal principles and norms governing the regulation of medical services within the WTO.
