IMPROVEMENT OF CIVIL LAW REGULATION OF COMPENSATION FOR DAMAGE CAUSED TO CONSUMERS THROUGH CONTRACTS CONCLUDED ON THE INTERNET

The growing number of relationships involving the sale of goods to consumers via the Internet makes it necessary to develop other mechanisms and rules for the legal regulation of these relationships. Today, it is necessary to ensure the harmonization in the legal regulation of relations concerning trade and services provided to consumers in the virtual and real space. Therefore, it is important to develop rules for compensation for damages caused by defects in goods delivered to consumers via the Internet, and to study the issues of their inclusion in the legislation. At the same time, it is important to ensure the rights of consumers, to determine the circle of persons who caused them harm, and to determine the issues of responsibility.
