IMPROVEMENT OF PREVENTIVE PRINCIPLES IN CRIMINAL EXECUTIVE LEGISLATION

This article is dedicated to developing proposals and recommendations on improving the effectiveness of the preventive function of the penitentiary system of Uzbekistan. As well as, in this research in order to develop specific proposals for improving the legal status of convicts in order to increase the effectiveness of preventive measures had been provided recommendations on expanding opportunities for implementing preventive measures in institutions and bodies that carry out criminal punishments. The author says, “On the basis of identifying specific features of increasing the effectiveness of the preventive function in the world, it is important to improve the penitentiary system. Strengthen the implementation of international standards for correcting convicts' behavior in national legislation”. In this article, the author suggests some proposals in order to increase the effectiveness of preventive measures in the execution of sentences on the basis of studying the experience of developed foreign countries.
