THE ROLE OF CRYPTOCURRENCY IN THE SYSTEM OF CIVIL RIGHTS OBJECTS IN UZBEKISTAN

In this article, the author has researched the legal status, theoretical and practical aspects of cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, etc. A variety of digital, virtual objects consisting of cryptocurrency and other electronic financial assets, records in information databases (Big data), domain names and accounts, the possibility of acting as objects of material rights or obligations rights, depending on the specificity of the legal regime, was considered. The article examines the movement of cryptocurrency, which is one of these digital objects, in civil circulation, their legal status, and their description. The author analyzed the approaches aimed at determining the place of cryptocurrency in the system of civil legal objects and developed proposals for improving their regulation by the civil legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This research was supported by a Marie Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange scheme within the H2020 Program (grant acronym: Central Asian Law, no 870647).
