INTERNATIONAL LEGAL REGULATION IN THE FIELD OF COUNTERING CYBERCRIMES

This article examines certain problems in the field of information security on the Internet, namely the international legal regulation of the fight against crime in the field of information technology, which represent a special public national and international danger. The purpose of this article is to analyze the existing international legal mechanisms for regulating the fight against cybercrime and the need to develop new international legal mechanisms in this area. Crimes related to information security relate not only to national law, but are overwhelmingly of an international nature due to the fact that they are carried out in the international information space using the global Internet, in addition, cybercrime is a crime in the so-called virtual space. It is important to form an international institutional mechanism in the field of interstate cooperation against cybercrime.
