In the article the concept of changing an employment contract in labor relations and the procedure for its implementation, the legal framework, the role and features of the terms of an employment contract in regulating labor relations, the structure of social and production factors, as well as the legal foundations of relations related to transfer to another job, changing of workplace, in their implementation of the rights and obligations of the employee and the employer, as well as the grounds and procedure for formalizing amendments to the employment contract were analyzed.
