LEGAL STATUS AND NATURE OF TRADE UNIONS AS PUBLIC ASSOCIATIONS

The article analyzes the main goals and objectives of the organization and activities of trade unions, and on this basis explains the structure of trade unions, their legal status and characteristics. The paper analyzes several models that describe the implementation of the activities of trade unions on the experience of foreign countries. The article also lists its specific features based on the analysis of the legal nature of trade unions. In the final part of the article, taking into account that trade unions have an important socio-economic power in protecting the rights and interests of members, a number of proposals are put forward to improve the organizational and legal foundations for the legal regulation of trade union activities.
