THE CONCEPT OF OPERATIONAL INVESTIGATIVE ACTIVITY, ITS SIGNIFICANCE AND ROLE IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CRIME

In the article, the author pointed out that the criminogenic situation in the world today is becoming more and more aggravated, a scientific analysis of the need to increase the scale of dangerous transnational crimes as a result of mutual international cooperation of criminal groups and organizations, the importance of operational measures of special law enforcement units in such a situation was created. In particular, the concept of operational investigative activity, its significance and role in the fight against crime is highlighted. Referring to this issue, the author noted that it is not enough to fight crime only by legal and criminal procedural means, focusing on the effective organization of activities in this regard on the importance of combining operational investigative measures and investigative actions. That is, suggestions and comments were made on the need to create opportunities for timely prevention, elimination and exposure of persons who have committed a crime by countering special measures that relate to hidden, disguised and organized actions of persons who have committed a crime.
