THE CONCEPT AND LEGAL NATURE OF THE INSTITUTE OF EXEMPTION FROM CRIMINAL LIABILITY

This article examines the concept of exemption in the theory of criminal law of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In this article, the author explores a new interpretation of the concept of exemption. Concludes the need to develop a new definition of the concept of exemption from liability. Interprets the concept of “liability”. She concludes that the notion of exemption from liability is the refusal of the state to apply all kinds of criminal sanctions against a person who has committed a crime. The concept of the grounds for exemption from liability highlights the problems and provides new suggestions for its solution
