PRIORITIES FOR IMPROVING PARLIAMENTARY CONTROL ACTIVITIES ON THE STATE BUDGET

Abstract

The article analyzes the priorities for parliamentary oversight of the state budget. In this regard, the experience of developed foreign countries is taken into account.  For example, here was studied the experience of France, the United States, Germany and other countries. Six priorities have been identified as priorities for parliamentary oversight of the state budget. It was also analyzed pre-parliamentary participation in the formation of the state budget and the preparation of reports on its implementation, increase the powers of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis in formulating the content of the draft state budget and reports on the execution of the state budget submitted to the parliament, areas such as capacity building and strengthening the supporting functions of the national parliament, further improving the transparency of the state budget, paying special attention to gender issues in the structure of the state budget, and developing pre-budget control in the parliament.
