This article discusses the procedures of Free Use and its importance in the development of society within the framework of the doctrine of the Republic of Uzbekistan's copyright law for educational and scientific purposes from the works protected by copyright. In addition, the procedure for quoting works in copyright and the shortcomings encountered in our national legal system in doing so and their solution, the concept of plagiarism in copyright, and the important role it plays in the educational system are discussed in the opinions of various scientists. In addition, changes and proposals that should be introduced in our national legislation will be cited to achieve this goal.
