LEGAL BASIS OF POLITICAL PARTY PARTICIPATION IN THE ELECTION PROCESS IN UZBEKISTAN AND TAJIKISTAN

The annotation examines the legal basis for the participation of political parties in the electoral processes of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. The legal framework regulating the activities of parties, their participation in elections and the procedure for registering candidates is examined.
Particular attention is paid to a comparative analysis of the legislative acts of the two countries, with an emphasis on their similarities and differences. Key legal provisions related to ensuring equal conditions for all participants in the electoral process, transparency of elections and the role of the Central Election Commissions are analyzed. The importance of creating legislative guarantees for a free and fair election campaign is emphasized as the basis for the development of democratic institutions. The findings highlight the need to improve legislation in both countries in order to increase the effectiveness of political competition and democratize the electoral process.
