THE ISSUES OF ENSURING THE LEGALITY OF LOCAL EXECUTIVE AUTHORITIES' REGULATORY ACTS BY THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE

An effective system of supervision over the legality of regulatory legal acts of local executive authorities is an important state task that ensures the protection and implementation of the rights of local self-government guaranteed by the Constitution. The bulk of illegal regulatory legal acts of local authorities is determined by the prosecutor's office. The article examines the most pressing problems of prosecutorial supervision over the legality of regulatory legal acts of local executive authorities. The author proposes to amend the legal regulation of the activities of prosecutor's offices on issues of ensuring legality at the local government level.
