The relevance of the study is determined by the need to name the new realities that have appeared in the modern educational process, to determine the semantic and derivational features of neologisms related to this thematic group in modern English and Uzbek languages. The study of the semantic and word-formation features of neologisms in the field of education is important and relevant, since the accumulated knowledge makes it possible to explain the actively developing processes and realities of the modern educational system.
