Abstract

This article explores the theoretical foundations of the concept of the “authorial term,” its formation factors, distinctions from other types of terms, and its role in philological terminology. Based on studies conducted in Russian and Kazakh linguistics, the significance of authorial terms in modern linguistic schools is discussed. The paper also analyzes the presence and historical emergence of such terms in Uzbek linguistics. The classification proposed by N.A. Slyusaryeva – universal, unique, and authorial terms – is used to describe the specific characteristics of authorial terms.
