Abstract

A literary device known as conflict within literature is the struggle between two opposing sides. Conflict is essential to the development of stories. Any story needs conflict to establish a certain tension and to advance the plot. It is frequently employed to emphasize the motivations, morals, and faults of the characters while also illuminating a story’s underlying significance. Each of the six basic types of literary conflict is covered in further depth below.
