Abstract

This article contains comments on the study of ergonyms in Uzbek and world linguistics. Factors affecting the emergence of ergonymic units and the role of ergonymic units in sociolinguistics and onomastic level are also discussed. The article talks about the types of ergonymic units, trends in their creation.
