This article analyzes the psychological impact of social comparisons conducted on social networks on adolescents' emotional state and self-awareness. During adolescence, the processes of self-awareness, self-esteem, the desire to be accepted by peers, and the determination of social status occur actively. Therefore, observing the appearance, achievements, lifestyle, social status, and attitudes of others on social media can lead a teenager to compare themselves with others.
