This article provides a scientific and pedagogical analysis of improving the methodology for developing artistic-pedagogical competence in prospective teachers based on pedagogical training technologies. The concept of artistic-pedagogical competence, its significance in teacher activity, the shortcomings of the existing training methodology, and five directions for its improvement - training program content, session structure, the video-feedback mechanism, individual-group balance, and integration into pedagogical practice - are substantiated from a scientific and practical perspective.
