The Great Silk Road served as a bridge that united many nations and peoples in trade, economy, and socio-political terms, and in the early Middle Ages, Khorezm merchants were not left out of these trade relations and actively participated in them. This was especially activated with the emergence of the Northern branch of the Caravan Road. The main reason for this was the passage of this branch through the cities of Khorezm. This factor also contributed greatly to the development of trade relations between the cities.
