This article analyzes the improvement of the municipal solid waste recycling system using a comprehensive approach. The study highlights the growing volume of waste, its environmental and economic impacts, and the need for efficient management. The experiences of Germany, Sweden, and Japan are examined and evaluated in terms of their applicability to Uzbekistan. The findings show that effective waste management requires the integration of technical, institutional, legal, and financial mechanisms. The paper also proposes practical recommendations to increase the recycling rate in Uzbekistan.
