SOME ISSUES OF THE TRANSFORMATION OF THE EDUCATION SYSTEM IN TURKESTAN IN THE LATE 19TH – EARLY 20TH CENTURIES

This article analyzes the changes that occurred in the education system of Turkestan during the colonial period of the Russian Empire, the establishment of Russian-native schools, the state of traditional educational institutions, short-term pedagogical courses and the teacher training system on the eve of the establishment of Soviet power. It also explores how these processes were reflected in social and cultural life, how the ideological content of education changed, and what impact they left on the spiritual consciousness of the people.
