The article analyzes the development of the field of semiotics in the context of modern literary and theoretical research, highlighting its main conceptual directions and the theoretical perspectives of both classical and contemporary scholars. The growing attention to approaches such as structuralism and semiotics in advanced academic circles reflects an increasing need for theoretical reflection on socio-cultural development. Throughout the study, the methodological foundations of semiotic analysis are elucidated through the interpretations of leading experts, revealing the role of sign systems in understanding the meaning of literary texts.
