This article is dedicated to the significance of psychology in modern life. Today, the profession of psychology occupies an important place in fields such as healthcare, education, and the economy. The article also explores problems encountered by psychologists, including deviant behavior, mental illnesses, and issues related to increasing work efficiency. Additionally, it analyzes psychological processes such as the importance of self-control, its neurophysiological foundations, and the role of the frontal lobes. Ethical standards for psychologists and the development of self-understanding capabilities are also discussed in theoretical and practical aspects.
