Markaziy Osiyo mamlakatlari va Ozarbayjon oʻrtasida qadimdan madaniy, iqtisodiy va ijtimoiy aloqalar mavjud. Asosiy sabablar qatorida ham umumiy ildizlar, ham geostrategik joylashuvi, o‘xshash tarixi, ushbu mamlakatlar orqali o‘tgan savdo yo‘llarini qayd etish mumkin. Maqolada iqtisodiy masalalar, aniqrogʻi, Markaziy Osiyo mamlakatlari va Ozarbayjon oʻrtasidagi soʻnggi 30 yildagi transport aloqalari bilan bogʻliq ayrim masalalar va ularning yechimlari koʻrib chiqiladi. Tadqiqot bu boradagi davlatlararo shartnomalar va loyihalar asosida olib borilgan.
